Human Rights Day
December 10 marks the annual Human Rights Day observation by the United Nations. Each year, this day is observed as a way to honour the UN’s adoption and proclamation of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
Human Rights Day acknowledges the entitled rights to everyone as a human being – regardless of races, colour, religion, gender, language, political or other opinion, national or social origin, property, birth, or status.
In 2025, the 77th Human Rights Day will take the time to acknowledge the theme of:

In acknowledgement of this day, the Multicultural Association of Wood Buffalo will be hosting a Human Rights Conversation Cafè, an annual panel conference in which to educate members of the community about Human Rights in the context of the RMWB.
