The Multiculturalism Day Festival is back for 2026!

Join the Multicultural Association of Wood Buffalo as we celebrate the diverse cultures that help brighten the community each day. This year, we will be hosting an evening festival with performances, family activities and cultural food vendors for all to enjoy.

Calling All Local Cultural Food Vendors!

Are you a local cultural restaurant, or own a cultural food-based business? We would love to have you at our 2026 Multicultural Festival!

Space is limited, so be sure to get your application in early to ensure you can get a spot for the festival. Further questions can be forwarded to events@mcawb.org

In 2025, as a way to celebrate the cultural diversity in the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo, the Multicultural Association of Wood Buffalo will be sharing the stories of newcomers to the region and why they are proud to call Canada their home.

This 3- hour, interactive workshop is designed for individuals and small organizations in the Wood Buffalo community who want to learn about cultural inclusivity and diversity, or who want to meet their Workplace Inclusion Charter goals.
