Remembrance Day (Australia, Canada, UK)

November 11

(Statutory Holiday in Canada)

This day commemorates the soldiers killed in World Wars I and II and is in remembrance for all those who have given their lives in service of their country.

Canadians always set this day aside in memory of those who gave their lives for freedom. Many observers wear red poppies as a symbol of this day.

Join the Multicultural Association of Wood Buffalo for our upcoming Community Cultural Awareness Session.

This 3- hour, interactive workshop is designed for individuals and small organizations in the Wood Buffalo community who want to learn about cultural inclusivity and diversity, or who want to meet their Workplace Inclusion Charter goals.
