Our FREE, monthly Notary Clinic service is specifically designed to provide accessible and essential notary services at no cost.

HOW OUR CLINIC CAN HELP
We can offer support with:
- Travel Document Applications
- Police Record Applications
- Commissioning Documents
- Witnessing Visa Applications
- Certified Copies
- Power of Attorney
- Travel Consents
We cannot help with:
- Legal Advice
- Drafting Legal Documents
- Real Estate Documents
- Wills
- Court documents, including court applications and any attached affidavits and exhibits for filing
- RCMP-issued fingerprinting forms

HOW TO ACCESS THE SERVICE
When: The last Saturday of every month from 10am to 12pm (unless otherwise specified)
Where: Syncrude Sports and Wellness Centre (Room 1312) – 9908 Penhorwood Street, Fort McMurray AB
Please ensure that you bring:
- 2 pieces of ID (one being a government-issued ID with a photo of yourself)
- The original document(s)
- Single-sided copies of all necessary documents
- For certified true copies, please ensure that you bring the original document for the notary public to review, not simply just the copy.
- For documents showing a different last name than the one reflected in your IDs due to marriage, please ensure that you bring you marriage certificate showing your maiden name so that the notary public can verify your identity.
Please be aware:
- We do not offer printing services in the office. Please bring all necessary copies with you to the clinic
- All copies must be printed on Legal sized paper (8.5in x 14in)
- All those who are signing must be present
- Do not sign any documents in advance
- Failure to follow any of the above requirements may result in your documents being rejected by the notary service.
