Seniors Outreach Project
The Seniors Outreach Project at the Multicultural Association of Wood Buffalo (MCA) is dedicated to building a warm, inclusive, and culturally rich community for the region’s diverse senior population. Rooted in MCA’s commitment to connection and belonging, this initiative focuses on supporting seniors from all cultural backgrounds by fostering engagement, reducing isolation, and creating meaningful opportunities to participate in community life.
Our goal is to ensure that every senior in Wood Buffalo feels valued, supported, and empowered. Through outreach activities, social programming, and community partnerships, the project helps to ensure that seniors stay active, informed, and connected.
What the Project Offers:
- Welcoming spaces for seniors to gather, socialize, and share cultural experiences
- Programs that encourage seniors to participate in physical, emotional, and social well-being
- Opportunities for seniors to celebrate diversity and build cross-cultural friendships
- Support senior navigation of community resources and services
